Skating the Zuider Zee
The Route: Zephyr’s seven-day in-line skate tour rolls along the smooth, flat bike paths of the northern province of Friesland, with stops at museums, historic sites, and seaside villages. When to go: May to September Difficulty: Moderate Travel advisory: Helmet and wrist guards are required for all skaters. Knee and elbow pads, available from the outfitter, are strongly recommended.
