Colorado ski resorts Keystone and Copper Mountain will start running lifts Friday, while Wolf Creek Ski Area will open for weekends this Saturday, .
Breckenridge, which was scheduled to open Friday, postponed its first day indefinitely due to weather too warm for snowmaking. Keystone and Copper are opening a week later than originally planned.
Skiers and boarders will have five Colorado ski hills to choose from this weekend. Loveland and Arapahoe Basin, two of the highest-altitude resorts in the state, are already open. But don’t expect hero snow if you get up into the mountains: Wolf Creek described its coverage as “very limited,” and conditions are likely to be similar at the other resorts.
