But the sheer number of experiences available can be overwhelming, so we curated a list of our five favorites.
Paddle a Light-Up SUP in Austin, Texas
While Austin is known for its rowdy nightlife, give your liver a break and head to Lady Bird Lake at 8 p.m. for . The three Adamson brothers, proprietors of and , host a 90-minute guided paddle around the lake on boards with special LED systems on the bottom that allow you to create your own surreal light show. The lights also give you a chance to watch largemouth bass swimming below.
Kayak to Sea Caves in La Jolla, California

Meet at Samer’s ocean adventure tour shop, , and walk three blocks to explore some of the most diverse marine habitat in Southern California. Climb Trees at Deception Pass in Oak Harbor, Washington
The best way to see Deception Pass State Park’s old-growth forest? In the trees. Your host will get you ranging from 150 to 300 feet tall for a mind-blowing perspective that would be impossible without specialized gear and a trained climbing guide.
