ճϳԹ hallways are stacked with boxes, and our offices are overflowing with gear. But even we can't get our hands on every product. To fill the gaps, we often ask experts about the gear they're using. Other times, we read online reviews.

This week, we wanted to find the best slim wallets, so we searched Amazon's bestseller list and chose five options with at least 1,000 reviews each. Then we scanned each wallet page for our favorite reviews, which are listed below. Note: some reviews have been edited for length and clarity.

“I gave up on the folding wallet years ago, and have been on a search for a minimal/low-profile wallet since.  combination of form and function. It holds all my essential cards and on the rare occasion that I have bills, the center slot easily holds up to 10 bills without adding bulk to the wallet. Also, the design of the wallet makes it very fast and easy to access, so no fumbling to put bills away, or take them out.”

“This wallet has been an awesome low-profile replacement. I carry a decent amount of stuff, and I wanted something that would not be felt when in my front pocket. This wallet is exactly that. It could easily handle seven cards and some bills. I haven't had any problems with cards or money sliding out. I even tried throwing it around to see if anything would fly out.”

“What a ! It has lots of smart storage, including the pull-tab that displays all of your credit cards. All of your other cards have easy-access slots, too. Those features, plus built-in RFID-blocking, along with a slim physical design and top-quality leather make this one of the best wallets I've ever had the pleasure of owning.”

“I don't carry cash often, so works well for me. I did fold a few dollars into credit card size and slide them in so it will hold cash. I haven't had any issues with the plastic folding or warping so far, and I have been using it every day for about a month. It does take a bit of effort to remove cards on the inner portion of the stack, but I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a front pocket minimalist wallet.”

Kinzd Slim Wallet Card Holder ($15)

“I have tried several slim wallets over the past few years and many seem to have space limitations and often bend cards. I have not yet found any complaints . It has adequate storage but isn't bulky in my pocket. It is a little wider than other wallets, but still thin and effective. I've had no problems getting cards out of any of the pockets either.”
